Winson Tan
Winson Tan obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) from the University of Malaya in 2015 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2016.
As the Head of FLTC’s Conveyancing Department, Winson oversees the firm’s property and banking practice. His areas of expertise include Sale and Purchase Agreements, sub-sale transactions, loan documentation, and the perfection of transfers and charges.
Beyond conveyancing matters, Winson regularly advises clients on land acquisitions, joint ventures, and real estate disputes. Notably, Winson has assisted clients in a variety of complex property transactions, including assisting clients in the acquisition of durian orchard land and the subsequent development of integrated durian orchard resort projects.
Winson also has extensive experience in estate administration and probate matters. He has acted for clients with substantial estates, advising on the complete estate administration process and overseeing the transmission and distribution of assets to beneficiaries.
Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, Winson is passionate about public legal education and making legal knowledge more accessible to the community. He regularly writes and shares insights on property law and has been featured on platforms such as 988 FM.
In recognition of his professional accomplishments and entrepreneurial contributions, Winson was accepted as a member of the Successful People in Malaysia & Singapore (2024) by British Publishing House (BPH). He was also recognised as one of the Elite Entrepreneurs by The Page in 2022.
