Conveyancing Fees: The Actual Numbers (SRO 2023)
Conveyancing fees in Malaysia are fixed by law under the Solicitors Remuneration Order 2023. Every firm charges the same rate. The difference is what you get for it.

Example: On a RM650,000 property — legal fee is RM6250.00 (1.25% on first RM500k) + RM1,500 (1.00% on next RM150k) = RM7,750
Loan Documentation Fees are charged separately from SPA fees. Approximately 0.5% of the loan amount, subject to the SRO scale.

Example: On a RM650,000 property – MOT stamp duty is RM1,000 (1% on first RM100k) + RM8,000 (2% on next RM400k) + RM4,500 (3% on next RM150k) = RM13,500
Disbursements: Title search, land office registration, and consent application are billed at cost, not marked up. We provide a full itemised quote before you sign the warrant to act.
