Benjamin Leong

Benjamin Leong read law at the University of London and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2021. His practice focuses on estate administration, conveyancing, and intellectual property, where he has demonstrated strong technical skills and a client-focused approach. In recognition of his professional competence and contributions to the Firm, he was promoted to Partner of FLTC in 2023.

In Estate Administration, Benjamin provides comprehensive legal support to clients in all aspects of estate administration, including applications for grants of representation, estate distribution, and related procedural and documentation requirements. He is experienced in managing both routine and complex transactions, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, regulatory compliance and timely completion. His practice is underpinned by a strong understanding of land law and current land registry procedures.

In Intellectual Property, Benjamin offers end-to-end legal services in trademark registration and protection, including pre-registration advice such as trademark searches, classification guidance, and strategic recommendations to improve the likelihood of approval. He acts for individuals, startups, and businesses across various industries, assisting them in securing and protecting their intellectual property rights through practical and commercially focused legal advice. With a strategic and practical approach, Benjamin helps clients secure and maintain robust legal protection for their brand identity in an increasingly competitive market.
