Benjamin Leong

Benjamin Leong read law at the University of London, England and obtained his Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in the year of 2019. He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2021.

Benjamin’s core areas of legal expertise and experiences includes Conveyancing and Litigation with special interest in the area of Recovery of Debt, Probate & Administration, Insolvency and Matrimonial.

He is also well exposed in the area of criminal practice and assist the National Legal Aid Foundation which also known as “Yayasan Bantuan Guaman Kebangsaan” which includes representation, mitigation, trials & criminal appeal in particular in cases of voluntarily causing grievous hurt (s.326 of the Penal Code), Criminal Intimidation (s.506 of the Penal Code), Criminal Breach of Trust (s.407 of the Penal Code) in the subordinate courts and Drug Trafficking cases (s.39B under the Dangerous Drugs Act) where Benjamin had appeared in the Federal Court in reversing the previous decision of the courts in the lower hierarchy.
